Ciaran Benson in his book ' The cultural psychology of self' is talking about that SELF is how much related to PLACE/SPACE and TIME. Self
identity, the question 'who you are' is very much connected to the
question 'where you are', 'where you have been' and 'where you hope
to arrive'. He says: nothing can be without being in a place, place is
a condition of existence. Where, when, who are mutually constitutive.
Lives, selves, identities are threaded across times and places...
